   *  We believe the Indian "bean pot" bowl was actually  introduced in mid-late 1939,
which is why it is legitimately found on so many late 1939 DLX Indian Schebler
carbs.
Schebler also made a brass bean pot bowl, the DLX55, with the fixed seat, but very rare and I am unsure of exact application, but it was used on some brass DLX carbs & did precede the aluminum bean pot bowl by several years. We find it rarely, and then only on Schebler carbs that we believe were used racing.
